An e-commerce shopping cart application for the web.
Web+Shop is a user-friendly e-commerce shopping cart application for the Web enabling merchants and ISPs to create Internet malls and shopping carts. Once built, the shops can be used to sell products, manage inventory, fill orders, manage customers/shipping/tax and execute transactions online. Customers can browse products, add/remove products from the shopping cart, check out, select a payment method, view invoices, confirm the order and check the order status. Web+Shop supports full integration with Cardservice International, CyberCash, Authorize.net and ICVerify to allow merchants to conduct real-time online payment processing securely. Web+Shop is available for a variety of platforms including Linux (all distributions), Unix (Solaris, FreeBSD) and Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP). It is available in the following editions:

• eCommerce Edition: enables a single Web+Shop store
• Hosting Edition: enables an unlimited number of stores on a server and includes full source code with modification, customisation and renaming rights.

Features include:

• Customisable Display of Merchandise: customise the display of merchandise and the storefront layout to appeal to a specific customer group using nearly sixty customisable options and templates to restructure a store. Templates can be edited using HTML
• Easy Navigation: the easy-to-use interface enables customers to browse through the store and purchase products quickly
• Search Engine: a powerful search engine can search through a stores entire product inventory and display products matching the search keywords
• Customer Accounts: each customer must setup an account upon making a purchase. Customers can select a username and password for security and use the accounts to keep track of orders and make new purchases. The merchant can also keep track of frequent customers for repeat purchases
• Invoice e-mail: customers will see their invoices in their web browser windows in the standard invoice format. Invoices are also e-mailed automatically to customers a product has been purchased to ensure that customers have a receipt of their order, re-confirming their purchase
• Credit Cards: Web+Shop supports all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Activate or de-activate any of the payment methods or add an additional credit cards
• Credit Card Validation: built-in credit card validation enables all entered credit card numbers to be validated to avoid any inaccurate or falsified numbers. Web+Shop supports Authorize.net Cardservice International, ICVERIFY and Cybercash for secure real-time online payment processing
• SSL: support for SSL to enable safe and secure credit card number transmission over the Internet
• Rapid Storefront Creation: create stores for products using the user-friendly point-and-click web interface
• Unique Customer Accounts: each customer account is associated with a unique user-name and password for additional security. Customers who have established accounts do not have to re-enter their contact information when they re-visit an online store
• Discounts and Specials: set up custom discounts for special occasions. Discounts are set up using a percentage of the price for a selected quantity of units ordered
• Web Interface: the administration part of Web+Shop has an easy to use Web-based user interface providing the flexibility to administer an on-line shop from anywhere, anytime
• Inventory Management: add new inventories, edit product information, delete out-of-stock products and manage many other inventory related tasks
• Product Inventory: organise an inventory into categories and groups providing a hierarchical tree structure that allows for easy navigation for customers and better inventory control
• Cookies: Web+Shop works with or without cookies
• Source Code: the source code is available for developers who want to add more features and gain more flexibility in customising online shops.
