These now take just two days, instead of 14 -- comparable to saving 85%. Costs too were reduced by around 80% by eliminating paper, says OpenText.
Customers today typically cannot wait
Previously, employees would fill out paper forms describing the maintenance request, and
then mail the form to the company’s central maintenance department for review. Once approved, the work would be carried out, documented, and then filed as a paper record, the company reveals.
