Partner teams and football fans rejoice! TeamViewer is set to replace prestigious US car marque Chevrolet on Manchester United shirts from next season.

According to Sky Sports, enterprise remote connectivity specialist TeamViewer inked a £235m five-year contract with Manchester United -- in the largest shirt-only deal in the Premier League.

Dave Stevinson, group CEO at QBS Software, confirmed TeamViewer has been making significant investments in the UK and global markets.

"As QBS Software is their UK distributor we have witnessed their amazing growth over the last few years," Stevinson says. "We are happy to talk with resellers who want to be part of their future success!"

Chevrolet has sponsored the Manchester United strip since 2014. The TeamViewer deal matches Barcelona's reported pre-pandemic 55m per season deal with Japan electronic brand Rakuten.

Manchester United managing director Richard Arnold said in the announcement: "We are tremendously proud to be establishing this partnership with one of the most exciting and dynamic global software companies. The ability to connect and collaborate has never been more important to the world and our community of 1.1 billion fans and followers."

TeamViewer chief executive Oliver Steil said the exciting partnership will expand its brand positioning.

"This will help us market our comprehensive solutions portfolio to all customer segments globally. Together as Team United we can bring the fan experience in the legendary Theatre of Dreams to a new level," he said.

Andreea Dumitrescu, managing director at QBS Software, confirmed that TeamViewer has gone from strength to strength.

"I remember seven years ago when I first reached out to TeamViewer for partnership, I had really high hopes. Since then, TeamViewer changed their licensing model, introduced new products, went public and now they are sponsoring a Premier League football team," Dumitrescu said.
