SolarWinds spinoff N-able is expanding its MSP partner initiatives to drive sales of managed cloud services around remote monitoring and management for SMBs.

Its programme will include a new Super Elite designation. Some 200 MSPs worldwide currently qualify and will receive additional benefits, according to SolarWinds.

In addition, the Elite programme has been expanded and an AllStar loyalty programme rolled out.

David Weeks, senior director of partner experience at N-able (formerly SolarWinds MSP), said: "There is no greater measure of achievement than the success of your customers and your partners."

Mike Cullen, group vice president of partner enablement at N-able, said: "Partners are everything to us. We are 100% partner-led and together with our team, our MSPs influence our decisions, our investments, our roadmaps, and our programmes.

"Their success is what pushes us to do more and empower them."

How MSPs can earn Super Elite status with N-able

According to Weeks, Super Elite partners must have at least 5000 IT devices managed by N-able. They will be chosen annually based on:

  • Overall size and service models
  • Continued growth and profitability
  • Productivity and utilisation rates of technicians
  • Ability to deliver exceptional business value

Super Elite partners will be invited to regular peer-to-peer business and technical discussions, exploring industry topics, trends, and challenges as well as formally advising N-able on alliances, programmes and roadmaps.

They will receive direct access to executives and early insights into key areas of investments and innovation, according to SolarWinds.

"We make it easy for MSPs to monitor, manage, and protect their end customer systems, data, and networks," according to N-able. "Our growing portfolio of security, automation, and backup and recovery solutions is built for IT services management professionals."

SolarWinds is set to complete the spin-off of N-able on 19 July.

According to SolarWinds' investor announcement, NYSE-listed N-able (NABL) will provide cloud-based software solutions for MSPs, enabling them to support digital transformation and growth within smaller companies. The core SolarWinds business remaining will focus primarily on the enterprise.
