Castle Rock Computing commenced operations in 1987. The SNMPc Network Manager, introduced in 1989, was the first available SNMP manager for Windows. This easy-to-use tool has proven very popular and there are currently over 100,000 copies installed worldwide.

July 1998 saw the introduction of their flagship management product, the SNMPc Enterprise Manager. This product uses a scaleable distributed architecture and incorporates the latest WEB based technologies. SNMPc Enterprise meets the demanding requirements for managing todays large corporate networks.
