Features include:

• Advanced Drag and Drop: drag and drop virtually any type of content straight onto a page. Freeway includes drag and drop support for native Illustrator 10, Photoshop 7, GIF, JPEG, Quicktime, MPEG and SWF file formats. Drag and drop MP3s from iTunes directly onto a Freeway page or drag the elements directly into a Freeway project to re-create an existing Web site. Drag and drop pictures from iPhoto, tunes from iTunes, images and text from a browser and styled text from applications such as Appleworks and Microsoft Word. Freeway creates the correct Web-ready files for publishing and uploading
• Image Transparency: Freeway supports transparency in Layered Photoshop files as well as TIFFs and 24-bit PNG files with 8-bit transparency masks. Composite images directly in Freeway without switching to an external graphic editor. Images created Photoshop with a transparent background should be saved as a layered, Photoshop native files for import into Freeway documents. Freeway uses the images transparency data to combine both images. The resulting picture is output as a JPEG, GIF or PNG
• Smooth Text and Images: accuracy is provided directly within Freeway without the need for an external graphic editor ensuring that the smoothest possible text is published. Freeway supports bi-linear scaling ensuring that images remain crisp and smooth and avoids the need to optimise them in an external editor. Control is provided over typography using the pre-installed fonts on the Mac that have built-in variations that are not used by DTP software. Freeway provides full access to these features to extend creativity. Graphics are scaled and rotated using bi-linear interpolation to ensure the smoothest output from Freeway without using a separate graphics program. • Language Support: for French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese. Select the required language before Freeway is launched. Freeway ships with spelling dictionaries for many European languages.
