PDF Xpress allows you to easily create, modify and render PDF and PDF/A files from within your applications.

PDF Xpress is available in the following editions:

  • PDF Xpress Reader: Allows you to open PDF documents, render pages for viewing including annotations and bookmarks and extract content from PDFs.
  • PXF Xpress Professional: Includes all the Reader features as well as the ability to create PDF and PDF/A documents and modify PDF content, bookmarks, annotations, metadata and watermark.

PDFXpress Reader PDFXpress Professional

PDFXpress Reader PDFXpress is a PDF support toolkit enabling the building of applications that can be used to view PDF files. It is available as a Microsoft .NET component and COM control, provides full read support for all PDF formats and reads all PDF files that are supported by Adobe.

  • General:
    • Support for Microsoft Windows 32-bit visual development environments
    • Sample code for C#, Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic 6 and Delphi 7 and 8
    • Deploy within .NET as a managed control
    • Use in any development environment that hosts ActiveX and COM
    • Client/server Web development
    • Use in a multi-threaded environment.
  • Adobe PDF Support:
    • Read single and multiple page PDF files
    • Support for native PDF files
    • Support for post script-based PDF files
    • Support for black and white image PDF files encoded to CCITT G3-1D, CCITT G3-2D, CCITT G4 and JBIG2
    • Support for colour image PDF files encoded to JPEG and JPEG 2000.
  • Additional File Formats:

PDF Reading Support:
  • Read single and multi-page PDF files
  • Read Post Script-based PDF files
  • Read color image PDF files encoded to JPEG (both sequential and progressive), JPEG 2000, GIF, BMP, PNG, and RAW image input
  • Render pages to 24-bit color or 1-bit bitonal
  • Render (read) the page or specified section of a PDF document
  • Specify resolution
  • Read Native PDF files
  • Read black and white image PDF files encoded to TIFF (CCITT G3-1D, CCITT G3-2D, CCITT G4), and JBIG2
