Hyena  by SystemTools

Hyena provides systems tools to simplify and centralise day-to-day management tasks and system administration for Microsoft Windows management utilities. View a Microsoft Windows NT, 200x, XP or Vista network from one Microsoft Explorer-style interface, audit system configuration and plug security holes. Generate reports for meetings or to use for further research to determine problems, change passwords for local administration accounts on multiple computers simultaneously, find out which services are running and show startup information and make simultaneous changes to services. It is available in the following Editions:

  • Hyena Standard Edition: Active Directory integration and full exporting and Microsoft Access-based reporting options
  • Hyena Enterprise Edition: adds support for Terminal Server user properties, Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000 and 2003 Server mailbox integration and WMI integration.
Any licensing level of the Standard Edition can be upgraded to any licensing level of the Enterprise Edition by simply paying the difference in price.

Hyena may be installed on a network drive and on multiple client or server computers, so long as each user accessing the software is individually licensed.

All New Hyena licenses include a 6-month free Maintenance and Upgrade period from the date of purchase. Hyena's maintenance programs extend the free initial 6-month maintenance period another 1 or 2 years, depending upon the option purchased.

When an upgrade (for example, upgrading from v4.0 to v6.x) is purchased, the upgraded licenses automatically include one (1) year of maintenance. If additional licenses are purchased at the same time that an upgrade is purchased, maintenance must be purchased on the additional licenses.

Maintenance can be renewed for 1 or 2-year periods:

  • One (1) year of software maintenance for Hyena is an additional 25% of the Current Licensing List Price.
  • Two (2) years of software maintenance for Hyena is an additional 40% of the Current Licensing List Price.
