Readiris

Readiris is optical character recognition software for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS and offers users the option to digitise hand-printed notes.

It is available in two editions:

• Readiris Pro: Optical character recognition (OCR) solution designed for private users and independent workers.
• Readiris Corporate: Optical character recognition (OCR) solution designed for businesses.

Readiris includes advanced PDF creation tools that lets you merge multiple files into a single PDF document or choose from different output formats (PDF Image, PDF Image-Text, PDF Text or PDF Text-Image).
• Reduce the size of your images & PDF files: based on I.R.I.S.’ Intelligent High-Quality Compression technology (iHQC), Readiris 15 can convert a standard document image (colour or black & white uncompressed formats, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNG, TIFF, image PDF, etc.) into a new colour or black & white fully searchable PDF document of much smaller size (up to 50 times) which is fully compliant with any PDF viewer.
