AutoMate

AutoMate automates manual tasks and streamlines processes. It replaces legacy batch files, scripts and custom application development, enabling complete IT Process automation without the need to write code. Control networks and operations and enhance security and reliability. An intuitive interface is available for developing automation applications. The basic building blocks are called actions and are drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank tools that developers can use to build AutoMate Tasks. Developers drag-and-drop actions in AutoMate Task Builder to build a series of AutoMate Steps that collectively make up the task.

Editions

• AutoMate Professional Edition: includes all the basic functions required to automate processes
• AutoMate Premium Edition: includes all of the features in the Professional Edition with the addition of support for SNMP, native terminal emulation, runtime, Microsoft message queuing and active directory actions.

Key Features:

• Task Administrator: The AutoMate Task Administrator provides a central management hub for administration of all automation assets. The AMTA's intuitive user interface makes easy work of task scheduling, trigger management, holiday schedule management and more.
• Task Builder: AutoMate provides an incredibly easy-to-use, drag-and-drop, intuitive interface for developing automation applications. Over 529 basic plain-English, drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank building blocks are used to build AutoMate Tasks.
• Schedule Trigger: Launches a task at a specified date, time or interval. This trigger is often used to schedule tasks to run at the end of each work day or during other periods of down time.
• The Premium Edition offers all the features found in the Professional Edition, along with the following:
  • Skybot Scheduler: Allows the integration between Skybot, a cross-platform enterprise job scheduler, with the automated business and IT processes in your Windows environment. Automate your enterprise from server to desktop.
    
  • Microsoft Exchange: Now including support for Microsoft Office 365! AutoMate creates, deletes and modifies Microsoft Exchange objects like appointments, tasks, contacts and email.

  • Amazon Web Services: Provides an on-demand cloud IT infrastructure to companies of all sizes. AutoMate supports the five main components of AWS: EC2, RDS, S3, SimpleDB and SQS. AutoMate your cloud infrastructure.
    
  • SNMP: SNMP is the internet standard protocol developed to manage nodes (servers, workstations, routers, switches and hubs etc.) on an IP network. AutoMate launches a task when an SNMP trap is received. You can specify filters to watch for particular traps.
