Polar SpellChecker for .NET enables the implementation of wide range of spell checking features in applications using a .NET interface.

Features include:

  • Standard Spell Checking Options:
    • Spell checking during typing
    • Incorrect capitalisation is reported as a misspelling
    • Change All returns the selected replacement on GetReplacement when one of the words from the ChangeAll list appears in a spell check
    • Ignore All when one of the words from the IgnoreAll list appears in a spellcheck
    • Suggestions are sorted by the degree of closeness with the misspelled word
    • Use fuzzy logic for selecting suggestions.
  • AutoCorrect:
    • Correct two initial capitals
    • Capitalise the first letter in the sentence
    • User defined exceptions for capitalising of the first letter in a sentence
    • Correct the accidental use of the Caps Lock key
    • User definable words for replacing while typing
    • User defined exceptions for capitalising of the first letter in a sentence
    • Highly customisable.
  • Multiple Dictionaries:
