Distributed workplace software specialist AnyDesk is continuing to expand, adding staff and further locations around the world, including in Europe.

An announcement by AnyDesk has revealed a rapid scale-up, with the now 200-strong team expected to welcome another 60 skilled professionals by the end of this year to meet customer demand and further grow the opportunity for channel partners.

"We are growing rapidly, have fully achieved our goals in 2021 and have set ourselves ambitious growth targets for 2022," Philipp Weiser, founder, and CEO of AnyDesk, explains.

"That's why we massively built up our locations in a year, almost doubled the number of employees and are constantly expanding our product portfolio. This means we are well prepared for the coming years."

The Germany operation has been boosted by a move to larger premises, with offices also being opened across the USA, China, and Georgia -- with the new Tbilisi hub being focused on innovation driven by a growing R&D team.

"It hired 10 research and development employees at the start of April 2022. AnyDesk plans to further expand the Tbilisi office as an innovation hub over the course of the year and CEO, Philipp Weiser, has temporarily relocated there to oversee the process," according to the vendor.

AnyDesk has rapidly become one of the world’s leading providers of remote desktop software in partnership with the channel.

The AnyDesk software solution offers users secure remote access from one device to other devices – running all major operating systems as well as improving organisational abilities to operate and power growth in today's hybrid or remote-working environments.

Boasting more than 100,000 customers from some 190 countries in 2022, the channel can look forward to the rollout of new features and functionality for ITSM that will assist them to target and promote growth among larger customers.

Greater regionalisation, for example, is set to improve visibility and usability around AnyDesk solutions worldwide, according to the vendor.

Since being formed in 2014 as the brainchild of three tech pioneers, Germany-headquartered AnyDesk leveraged its vision for fast, secure remote desktop software by developing a proprietary codec, DeskRT, that delivers very low-latency connectivity for workers spread across a heterogeneous organisational environment.
