Continuous test automation software vendor Tricentis is gearing up for its autumn virtual summit from 12 to 14 October, according to Tricentis' Chauntel Greaves.
"We’re kicking off the last quarter of 2021 with our upcoming fall virtual summit -- an exciting event that we look forward to and plan for throughout the entire year," Greaves writes.
"The theme for this event is delivering software innovation at devops speed."
Delegates will explore how to scale devops and digital transformation initiatives as well as improve their organisations' quality strategies and testing practice. No matter where teams are in their testing journey, the Tricentis summit will have something to offer, according to Greaves.
Tricentis senior solution architect -- alliances, Bill Hayden, will discuss continuous testing in the enterprise, and look at the process of learning through trial and error.
According to Hayden, quality assurance can seem harder than it needs to be, regardless of the plethora of tools available.
"Test automation was supposed to reduce our work and effort, not increase it!" he says.
Part of the answer, Hayden says, is model-based test automation, which means testers don’t need to be highly technical to make it work.
"In fact, we can actually do less testing and be more effective at the same time. When I think back to all the hours of effort that went into UI, API, and data integrity testing across my projects, I realise what a better job I could have done for my partners and customers if only I had known," he reports.
Another key presentation will feature Tricentis' testing transformation strategist Andreas Kronlachner, who will discuss a blueprint for modernising testing practice through a continuous testing framework.
For faster software releases, quality must become the entire testing team’s responsibility, Kronlachner says.
Perspectives on testing bottlenecks, quality assurance and continuous testing across all stages of software delivery from partners including SAP will also be on offer.
