Adds document viewing to Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers. Displays TIFF, PDF, CAD and many other images with one viewer.
Prizm ActiveX Viewer displays images your browser can't. Comprehensive viewing features go beyond common display tools (zoom, rotate, pan), to add thumbnail navigation, poster printing, image export, and many others. With Prizm ActiveX Viewer you can attach comments (annotations) to any file without changing the original. Extensive configuration options let you customise your toolbars, menus, initial display settings, etc.

Prizm ActiveX Viewer - Features

The Prizm Viewer provides powerful browser-based image display, annotation, manipulation, navigation, and printing of document images. View single and multi-page TIFF G3/G4, PDF, JPEG, BMP, PCX, DCX, CALS, JEDMICS image file formats and more, through Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers with exceptional image display speed and quality.

The customizable toolbar is filled with tools to annotate, hyperlink, add notes, zoom, spot magnify, and rotate. Centralized control over the Prizm Viewer configuration allows enterprises to use the same viewer to serve multiple departments or user groups with appropriate tools.

Windows XP2 Update - Microsoft Windows XP SP2 is supported in the current version, minimizing the impact to end users by pre-configuring HTML and executables used by the Prizm Viewer as approved.

Large Image Support

The Prizm Viewer has long been known for its excellent support of large images, especially those used in engineering environments.
  • Handles images as large as 50 x 333
  • Caches images (partially or completely) for instantaneous rescaling Handles up to 4000 tiles of different compression types and dimensions, including null tiles Birds Eye View (reference window) indicates your current position on the image while remaining zoomed in to a particular area (see example)
  • Magnifying Glass lets you dynamically magnify a particular area of an image (great for tracing wires)
  • Print Acceleration can print large size engineering drawings to Postscript printers up to 80% faster that the same files printed through a standard Windows driver
  • Optional Roll Form Printing - For users with Postscript roll form printers, this option can make it easier to print large engineering drawings by designating the paper roll and allowing the Prizm Viewer to calculate the correct length and width for the drawing.
  • Segmented printing support allows users to print extremely large engineering drawings over multiple pages

Magnify, Rotate, Navigate, & Mirror
