Scanner Support

• Enables complete control over all high-speed ISIS-driven scanners supported by EMC Corporation's PixTools.
• Scan directly to memory.
• Resolution from 50 dots-per-inch (dpi) to over 2400 dpi.
• Automatic feeder, printer/endorsers and transparency units are supported.
• Interface using SCSI, USB, serial port, video, parallel port, GPIB and proprietary interfaces.
• Access and control high-performance scanners from Canon, Agfa, BancTec, Bell & Howell, Epson, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Inotec, Kodak, Microtek, Minolta, Panasonic, Ricoh, Sharp, Umax and others.

Multistreaming Support

• Support scanners with multi-stream technology.
• Simultaneously capture any two images from each scan (colour, grayscale and/or bitonal).
• Depending on the scanner, can enable duplex (front and back) and/or multi-streaming. Duplex with multi-streaming yields four images per sheet.
• Scanning modes could include full-colour, black-and-white, grayscale, binary or RGB colour dropout.

Compression & File Formats

• Compress to standard document image file formats, including:
• TIFF (Raw, Packbits, Binary CCITT Group 3, G3 Modified, Group 4).
• Colour and grayscale JPEG (24-bit sequential and 8-bit sequential).

ISIS Xpress - Features

ISIS Xpress provides an alternative to Pixel Translation's PixTools/Scan when used with ImagXpress or TwainPRO. It can be used as a .NET managed control, COM or VCL component for high-speed scanning of b/w, greyscale and colour documents and provides a simple method of accessing high-performance scanners.

Multistreaming Support

• Take full advantage of scanners supporting multistream technology
• Simultaneously output multiple images from a single scan (any two combination of color, grayscale and/or bitonal)
• Multistreaming of images is scanner-dependent. There are two methods for capturing multiple images: 1. Duplex Scans both front and back. 2. Multistreaming Outputs two images from the same side. Multistreaming with duplex yields four images (two front and two back).
• Scanning modes could include full-color, black-and-white, grayscale, binary or RGB color dropout. Using these modes and multistreaming, a user could simultaneously acquire a color image and a grayscale image of one source page.

Licensing

Licensing agreements for Pegasus products vary according to product and usage. Please clarify details when ordering or call QBS on 08456 580580 for more information. A separate license is required from Unisys to use GIF and TIFF LZW filters.

Please make sure that products are correct at the time of ordering as Pegasus has a no returns policy and consequently QBS cannot accept returns any software.
