FlashBack is a screen recorder producing a film of screen images that can be saved to Flash, AVI or EXE format. Images can be e-mailed or added to web sites. Add sound, commentary and text, crop the film and remove mistakes. Native FlashBack films can be played back using the free player.

The SDK components integrate with Visual Studio 6.0 and newer, so they can be dragged and dropped into your applications and used from C#, VB.NET, C++ and any language that supports COM objects. The SDK is fully compatible with Borland C++ Builder, Delphi and Embarcadero BCBXE development environments. Adding screen recording and playback is as easy as dragging and dropping a component.

An SDK is available enabling the addition of screen recording and playback capability to applications. It includes a Recorder Active X component for dragging and dropping onto a form and calling the start method of the recorder and a Player Active X component enabling the Filename property to be assigned and the LoadFile method of the player called. It has a minimal impact on PC performance, so you can record full screen at high frame rates, resulting in the smoothest, best looking movies around. Because FlashBack records only screen changes and uses a custom compression engine, you get the smallest movie files possible.

Editions available:

Express: lets you record the screen, sound and webcam, share recordings online and save them as AVI and Flash movies.
Standard edition: adds annotation and WMV and QuickTime exporting
Professional edition: adds audio and video editing, EXE export and zoom and pan effects.
