Intel Parallel Studio XE 2013 combines industry-leading compilers, performance and parallel libraries, error checking, and performance profiling tools for C, C++ and Fortran. Efficiently boost application performance with Intel® Parallel Studio XE. Intel Parallel Studio XE combines Intel's C/C++ and Fortran compilers; performance and parallel libraries; error checking, code robustness,
and performance profiling tools into a single suite offering.

At the same time, the suite eases the procurement of all the necessary tools for high performance, and simplifies the transition from multi-core to many-core processors in the future.

Try the software yourself
The latest Intel C/C++ compiler, Intel C++ Compiler XE 12.0, optimises for the latest Intel Architecture processor, code-named Sandy Bridge, with Intel AVX support. The package contains Intel Parallel Building Blocks, which includes advances in mixing andmatching task, vector, and data parallelism in applications to better map to the multi-core optimisation opportunities. The technologies included are Intel Cilk Plus, Intel TBB, and Intel Array Building Blocks.
Support for vector optimisations with Intel AVX, with SIMD pragmas, and help in auto-parallelisation for the highest performance and parallelism on the latest IA multi-core CPUs are some additional capabilities. Intel Fortran Compiler XE 12.0 includes complete support for the Fortran 2003 standard and some support for Fortran 2008 standards, including Co-Array Fortran, vector optimisations with AVX, and help in auto-parallelisation, for the highest performance and parallelism on the latest x86 multi-core CPUs.
