Enterprise Security for Endpoints  by Trend Micro

Trend Micro Enterprise Security for Endpoints provides a defence against threats on and off the corporate network, combining anti-malware with in-the-cloud protection from the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network. File Reputation in OfficeScan frees endpoint resources and Web Reputation protects endpoints by blocking access to malicious sites. Enterprise Security for Endpoints offers a single solution to protect desktops, laptops, file servers and smartphones. A flexible plug-in architecture, multi-layer host intrusion prevention and extended platform support are provided.

Enterprise Security for Endpoints replaces the OfficeScan Client-Server Suite.

Incremental Licensing for New Purchase:

  • from 5-25 the exact number e.g. 5, 6, 7...24, 25 (26 as minimum for EE solution)
  • from 30-250 in 5-User steps e.g. 30, 35, 40, 45,..., 245, 250
  • from 251-1000 in 10-User steps e.g. 260, 270, ...990, 1000
  • from 1000+ in 25-User steps e.g. 1000, 1025, 1050, 1075 etc

Odd Licensing for Renewal:

Existing customer with an odd License (with a licence which do not comply with standard user steps / increments) can continue renewing with that odd number of license. OR Add 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-User to their licence but must pay the Additional Seat cost.

Example: existing customer with 31-User License can either renew based on 31-User price or purchase 4 Additional to get to next higher increment of 35-User or they can purchase 9 Additional to reach next higher increment of 40-User License.

Additional License to reach Increments:

The minimum License to be purchased for ordering Additional License has changed from 5-User to 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-User. This will allow all customer (also the ones with a licence which do not comply with standard user steps / increments) to add licenses to the next increment.

Example: existing customer with 31-User License can purchase 4 Additional to get to next higher increment of 35-User or they can purchase 9 Additional to reach next higher increment of 40-User License.
