LICENSING
The software licensing that you can purchase from QBS legalises the use of
existing software and enables companies who have many users of the same
software to buy a small number of physical copies, manuals, etc and then deploy
the application throughout an organisation depending on the number of licences
that have been purchased, often at a reduced cost.
The software licensing that you can purchase from QBS generally falls into one
of the following categories:
-
One box per developer licensing
-
Multiple User Licensing
-
Royalty licensing
-
Embedded software licensing
-
Site Licensing.
These licensing programs legalise the use of existing software at, in most
cases, a significantly reduced cost. QBS works closely with its publishers to
clarify their licensing schemes and we will assist you in understanding them
and finding the optimum licensing solution for your company.
Software licensing enables companies who have many users of the same software
to buy a small number of physical copies, manuals, etc and then deploy the
application throughout an organisation depending on the number of licences that
have been purchased. Licensing schemes are specific to individual publishers
who use their own terminology; it is therefore possible that definitions of
licensing types may vary between publishers. Please do not hesitate to contact
sales@qbssoftware.com if you have any further queries.
