Visual SourceSafe...
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe is now no longer being sold,
as of January 1, 2012.
It will be removed from the Microsoft January 2012 price
lists in both retail and Volume Licensing channels and will
no longer be available for purchase by resellers or customers.
Well, what next?
While MSDN subscribers with Visual Studio Professional with
MSDN or above will still be able to download Visual SourceSafe,
the preferred option is to upgrade to
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010.
