FINDING PRODUCTS
Order software online by finding the required software, adding stock items to
the shopping basket, checking out and paying by credit card or requesting a
proforma invoice or quotation.
Hover over the PRODUCTS menu and then hover over A-Z by
Product
then select from the sub-menu the first letter of the required product. Click #
to view names that start with a number. The list of products displayed can be
scrolled to locate the required product or search the page using CTRL+F and
click the product name.
Hover over the PRODUCTS menu, select A-Z by Publisher
from the menu and select the first letter of the required publisher. Click # to
view names that start with a number. The list of products displayed can be
scrolled to locate the required product or search the page using CTRL+F and
click the product name.
Searching for a Product
Type the product name in the top right search text here
box and click GO to produce a list of products with the strongest matches
displayed at the top of the page. A search for "Microsoft Access" will produce
Access and its add-ons.
If the product name is unknown it is possible to select from a list of product
categories. For example to find a database development product, select Products
by Category, select the main category Data and Databases
and select DB Development to produce a list of products and a
selection between two sub-categories such as DB Design and
DB Management
.
Select Products by Category on the PRODUCTS
menu to look through a heirarchy of categories or an alphabetical list. Click
on a category to display a list of product sub-categoreies
Product Information
Product Information comprises an Overview (a short description
of the product), Detailed Information (a detailed description
of the product that may include version comparison tables etc), Frequently
Asked Questions (FAQs) and Pricing information.
Publisher Information includes information regarding the publisher
such as product lists, news, special offers, events, press releases and
licensing schemes. See Also

Stock Information
Stock Information comprises delivery information such as charges that may apply,
whether the product is in stock, whether the software will be delivered by
Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) or on CD delivered by postal services (see
below for further information regarding AutoESD and ESD
).

regarding software delivery from the pricing section. Add an item to the by
shopping basket clicking Add
against the required product.
Auto ESD
Automatic Electronic Software Delivery: The QBS Software Website charges the
credit card automatically and e-mails download instructions. Switch to manual
processing on the Checkout page if preferred. There is no delivery charge for
Auto ESD software.
ESD
Electronic Software Delivery: The credit card is charged manually and download
instructions e-mailed.
There is no delivery charge for ESD software.
