CodeGear is the developer tools group of Embarcadero Technologies, who acquired the product range from Borland in mid-2008. This division has a long history of building great products for developers. Its award winning IDEs have been in the market since the early 80's. Its mission is to continue to build the tools that developers need to get the job done as creatively and efficiently as possible and to create a place where developers come first.
It currently has several primary product lines formerly associated with Borland's Integrated Development Environment (IDE) business. These include RAD Studio, Delphi, C++Builder, JBuilder and Interbase.
